Williamson County: Home to Top Youth Athletes

Different areas in our country immediately come to mind when thinking of hot spots for producing top notch athletes.  Although Williamson County is not one of the large counties like those in California, Texas, or Florida, it has produced youth athletes that are making their mark in National competition.  Last week, athletes from the Williamson County Track Club competed in New Orleans, Louisiana at the AAU Junior Olympics.  Joseph Emanaul Hall, a Franklin, TN resident took two gold medals along with his brother Chaz Hawkins who won one of his own.

Also, in the swimming world, Nashville Aquatic Club had several Williamson County athletes to rank in the USA Swimmers Top 10. recently.

Williamson County might not have the number of athletes as some larger counties, but there is definitely no lack of talent being produced here!

About williamsoncountysportspage

I am the owner / editor of an online youth sports publication in Williamson County, Tn. As the parent of a youth athlete, I feel it is so important for other parents to have a go to source where they can get all the info they need about their child's local sports programs. There are several news outlets out there, but none other than the Williamson County Sports Page covers not only the big sports events, but also the stories of Little League heroes! I am thrilled to offer the community such a valuable source as well as to highlight the talented athletes of Williamson County!
